I ran a community race this morning in Oakland with the hubby. Afterwards, the various sponsors were furiously handing out freebie products… The very kind that I like to review — chocolate and tea!!! Here’s my review of the attune Coffee Bean Dark Chocolate bar.
attune’s main shtick seems to be the probiotics they put in all their products. They add it to absolutely everything they produce, including… chocolate bars. They also seem to imply from their website that probiotics are the cure to the world’s ills. Well, I couldn’t taste the probiotics at all, so I guess no harm done. The other thing I like about these chocolate bars is that they’re only 90 calories each. Yay, a small chocolate bar that helps folks like myself exercise portion control. As far as the taste goes, the coffee beans wa-a-a-ay overwhelm any other flavors. The beans are nice and crunchy and bitter whilst the dark chocolate is basically a conduit for the beans. You can see the proportion of beans/chocolate in the above photo. I definitely agree with the naming order of this bar — Coffee Bean Dark Chocolate.
Anyways, it’s good.
