YUM! Ok, since butterfat is an ingredient I guess this bar isn’t technically dark chocolate. Not for purists like myself anyway. But somehow I managed to gobble the entire bar up over the course of a day, finishing with only a tiny wisp of regret for my post-pregnancy diet. I still have 8 pounds to lose and whaddya wanna bet the scale will tell me 9 pounds tomorrow morning? Well, there must be some sacrifices paid for the fine reporting I do for this blog…
As you may infer I rate this chocolate bar highly. I would probably rate it even higher without the butterfat, but like an old man uploading a profile to match.com I’ll take whatever I can get.
Sugar is actually the #1 ingredient which is probably why this choc hazelnut bar reminds me of Nutella. I wonder why Nutella hasn’t launched a line of chocolate bars? If anyone knows how to combine hazelnuts and chocolate it’s them! Until they get their act together this Lindt bar can keep chocolate hazelnut bar fanatics from rioting.
