I tried out Starbucks’ green tea frappaccino in their $13 double walled plastic cup (plastic straw included).
The cup is awesome! It looks exactly like the store disposable plastic cup, but has the solid feel of a tumbler. Now that summer is here (temperature-wise) I will definitely be putting the cup to good use.
I can’t say the same thing about the green tea frappaccino. Sadly, this beverage is sickeningly sweet. It tasted more like melted green tea ice-cream. How does Starbucks expect anyone to sit down and drink it in one go? I was a bit irate because I was actually thirsty, but this frappaccino left me MORE thirsty because of the very syrupy nature of the drink. Note to self: next time ask for the unsweetened version (if it exists) and stir in sugar to my liking.
